Employed by many special operations groups around the world, Luminox introduces the Black Ops 8880 series. The 3-watch series demonstrates the brand's heritage and provides ideal watches for adventurers, outdoorsmen and military personnel. This Black Ops 8881 features a 45 mm CARBONOX case with a matte black dial matched with gray pencil-style hands and Arabic numerals as hour markers in both 12- and 24-hour formats. Tritium-based luminescent tubes called LLT's illuminate the watch thru its hands, around the sloped flange and inside the bezel pip. This is complemented by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a uni-directional rotating CARBONOX dive bezel and a bordered date window at the 3 o'clock position adjacent to the protected crown. Touches of gray and red contrast is evident via the dial texts and markers, Luminox shield, date border, bezel and seconds hand. A black polyurethane rubber strap secured by a stainless steel buckle completes the tough and robust look. This watch has a screw on caseback wherein underneath lies the Ronda caliber 515 HH6, a Swiss quartz movement and is water-resistant up to 200 meters/660 feet.
